To give you an exclusive preview of our new schemes, our Hume Collection has been flawlessly installed by our CHAS accredited Logistics team in South Bank Tower. It is ideally situated between London's financial district and the rich cultural life provided by the local area. Offering a vibrant mix of shopping, restaurants and bars, South Bank is globally renowned for its culture, including the Tate Modern. Speaking of which, did you know that each BoxNine7 furniture collection is named after a British artist?
Renowned for paintings distinguished by a bright palette, simplified forms and flat areas, this collection has been named after the famous Gary Hume. Coming to fame in the early 1990s, the Hume Collection is a new take on the classic 90's industrial loft look and feel. Our Hume Collection offers a cleaner and lighter feel that's also minimalistic, sleek, and edgy overall.
Defining the Interior Trends.
Our Buying & Procurement team are constantly searching for the hottest new trends in the interior world and listening to feedback from our clients. Overall, sustainability certainly has a considerable influence in our new furniture collections, with earthy tones and raw materials used to create a calm environment, a trend that has become increasingly popular. With that in mind, the team have worked extremely close with local craftspeople to incorporate these key trends within The Hume Collection.
The New Industrial.
We introduce to you a softer and fresher industrial feel, featuring crisp white marble finishes and a soft grey upholstered sofa which comes sealed with a lifetime comfort guarantee. The collection also comes with an exclusive handwoven rug produced by specialist artisans and made from 100% natural wool.
Rusty Tones.
Overall, the living room offers a monochromatic industrial feel, emphasised further with burnt orange velvet soft furnishings. Providing an element of contrast, tan leathers were selected to add some warmth to the soft greys. Additionally, the contemporary feature chair is unique to the BoxNine7 collections. With a nod to our sustainable footprint, the soft furnishings feature exclusive recycled cushion covers and throws. Over in the dining room, this trend is continued with a solid black circular dining table, chosen for maximum space utility matched with orange velvet upholstered chairs.
Organic Lines.
Reflecting on the collection's name, Hume's 'Water' series has heavily influenced the artwork selected. The abstract pieces throughout the living room and bedrooms feature organic lines matched with bold colouring, reflecting the artists decorative aesthetic. The wood used in the artwork frames are all made from sustainable materials and handmade by highly skilled craftspeople in Cambridgeshire. Unique to our collections, all artwork has been curated by UK-based local artists.
Brass Detailing.
A popular trend here to stay, touches of brass are used in the bedroom and on the bedside tables and lamps. Not only adding a timeless look to the scheme, but the brass also injects a touch of welcomed elegance to the collection. Delivered and installed by our 5-star rating Installation team, all our bedside tables are packaged with approximately 80% recyclable packaging and slowly but surely, we are influencing our supply chain to update their packaging materials to be fully recyclable as we continue to diminish our furniture footprint.
